ORGANIZATION | MISSION STATEMENT | ||
STEWARD BOARD | These members are the spiritual leaders of the church. They are appointed by the Pastor and confirmed by the Presiding Elder of the AME Church. The Steward Board prays and intercedes on behalf of the church and its members, in addition to managing the membership and financial records of the church. | ||
TRUSTEE BOARD | The Trustees are voted into office and are responsible for the physical condition of the building and grounds of the church. | ||
STEWARDESS BOARD | The Stewardess are appointed by the Pastor and report to the Stewards. They are responsible for maintaining the altar and pulpit dressings and the preparation of the Lord’s Supper. They are also responsible for assisting with Baptisms. | ||
BUILDING FUND | This committee is responsible for finding ways to secure funds to do improvements to the church. | ||
CLASS LEADERS COUNCIL | To serve as a liaison between, the pastor and the congregation, to assist in providing spiritual support to the members who have been assigned to classes, to identify special needs and abilities of various class members and make recommendations to the pastor. | ||
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT | Provides scholarship and personal contributions to those seeking higher education. | ||
HEALTH MINISTRY | Seeks to address the health needs of our congregation and community via education, mini conferences and health fairs to promote a healthy lifestyle. | ||
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE | This committee is responsible for making our guests feel at home. | ||
| HELPING HANDS | Keep the congregation and community informed about important health issues and healthcare awareness. | ||
INTERCESSORY PRAYER LEADERS | As Christians, petitions are made before Christ for the healing of thr sick, for the saving of the lost, and for providing hope to the hopeless. | ||
KITCHEN COMMITTEE | These persons are responsible to having food prepared and available for special occasions. They also make sure the kitchen is clean and well supplied for all events requiring food. | ||
| LADIES OF GRACE | To reach young ladies with a message of love and respect for the gospel of Jesus Christ, themselves and others, by sharing with them His word through scripture reading and teaching the importance of prayer. we will encourage them to embrace their inner beauty, develop self respect and self worth. | ||
LAY ORGANIZATION | Being led by the spirit and Empowered to serve, will set new goals, and a new agenda for the new century and continue to lead the church from membership to discipleship. | ||
LITURGICAL DANCE MINISTRY | To engage and invite young people to take part in Christ-like opportunities to encourge continuous and active participation in the body of Christ. | ||
SONS OF ALLEN | Fellowship, preaching and teaching to reach men. | ||
MISSIONARY SOCIETY | We are called to strengthen our faith and sent to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world. | ||
MULTI-MEDIA MINISTRY | Ministering the Word of God through cutting edge media; touching the minds and souls of individuals not able to attend worship services. | ||
MUSIC MINISTRY | Music is an integral part of the worship service. We are always seeking members who want to lift up the Lord in Song and with instruments. | ||
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION NEW MEMBER’S MINISTRY | Help new members become knowledgeable of the AME worship services and ministries of the church. | ||

SPORTS MINISTRY | TBA – Encouraging participation in basketball, bowling and other athletic activities; practicing good sportsmanship. Bringing families closer together through recreational fellowship. | ||
SUNDAY SCHOOL | To teach, train, nurture, prepare and recruit adults and children in God's Word for Christian service, emphasizing those Christian principles which are essebtial for effective growth and participation. | ||
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY | Provide transportation for members and interested persons who desire to attend services, meetings, conferences and other special events. | ||
USHER BOARD | These are our “doorkeepers” who greet everyone with a smile and a friendly ‘welcoming spirit.’ The ushers are responsible for making sure everyone has a bulletin and envelope, or a fan or meet any other need that may arise while in the sanctuary. | ||
YOUNG PEOPLE'S DIVISION | A vision that develops relationships and sustaining a high level of integrity. giving direction, encouragement, possibilities and strategies toward their success by teaching and assisting them with their skills to enhance personal goals. | ||
BOYS II MEN | Better choices today for more choices tomorrow. | ||
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY | Offers employment assistance through workshops and classes to enhance one’s resume and business etiquette. | ||
PRISON MINISTRY | Addresses the spiritual needs and provides guidance to persons incarnated in correctional facilities. | ||
COURTESY GUILD | Extends a hand of welcome and encourage visitors to register. | ||
